People who use the ‘Everyday Time' community at Busan University of Foreign Studies can see posts that complain about recycling more than once a month in community postings. When throwing away empty plastic bottles, it is necessary to remove the plastic label from the plastic bottle. However, most people still tend to throw away the bottle with the label still on it. In addition, you can also see a lot of containers that have been thrown away that still have uneaten food or drink inside of them. Because of this, if the garbage is to be recycled properly, the cleaning staff end up having to do a lot of extra work.
Meanwhile, similar problems continue to arise in the campus dormitory. In September of this year, there were many cases of dormitory students who violated the dormitory refrigerator usage rules, so the dormitory banned students from using the refrigerator. The above cases show that students do not follow the basic rules for recycling and refrigerator use.
Cleaning staff said, "Every day we have to deal with plastic bottles that still have labels on, as well as bottles that still have some liquid left in them. In addition to not throwing away bottles properly, the toilets are also causing problems because people do not flush the toilets after using them or clog them with wet wipes. We hope that students will cooperate and start recycling and using the toilets properly." In order to reduce the number of cases above, it is necessary to comply with students' proper recycling and refrigerator usage rules from now on.
