In recent years, electric cars have entered the car industry, and this has led to a big change in the market. Hyundai has already proclaimed premium line of cars, Genesis, will only produce electric cars after 2026. This already shows how much the car industry has changed. Cars will be fueled with electricity, not gasoline.
To boost this change, some brands that are not related to the automobile industry have decided to start installing electric car chargers. One of Korea's biggest companies, GS Retail, has decided to install more electric car chargers. This offline platform will help owners of electric cars visit their stores more often. Their goal is to have more chargers than retail stores.
This idea was actually brought up a long time ago. However, back then, people thought that cars should be fueled by gasoline. They thought of electric cars as electronic toys. Nowadays, due to the high price of gasoline and the high pollution levels that come with traditionally-fueled vehicles, people prefer to buy electric vehicles. Those people buying new cars want electric cars, if not hybrid cars, because these cars can save you a lot of money, and also are harmless to the environment.
A lot of researchers say that such changes will also boost the purchase of electric cars. As the infrastructure for electric cars gets better and stronger, more people will want to own and drive electric cars. Even convenience stores are bringing in such changes, and so this may be the endgame for gas-fueled cars.
