The Danger of Magnification of Voice Phishing

From the past to the present, the controversy about voice phishing in Korea has lasted. Voice phishing is a compound word of personal information and fishing, The term is used when attackers try to steal people's money from accounts and credit cards by using manipulative methods. From June to October, more than 600 cases of voice phishing were reported. Nowadays the internet and technology in general is much more developed than the past making it much easier for voice phishers to seem legitimate. As such, the degree of voice phishing has become so serious that people only realized much later on that day have been defrauded, by which time it is too late to change anything.

Attackers target and abuse people with lower mental capacity, namely people who can't make the right judgment as they panic and make bad decisions in stressful situations. In the future, Korea will gradually develop better technology than now. It will change our country again. But there will be many things that should not happen. So, we have to pay attention to people's pain and attackers' cruel and mean cheating because nobody knows by who, when, and how they could to get attacked.
