Janglim Port has been renovated through the 'Janglim Port attraction project', and tourist facilities such as the marine protection zone, public information center, culture village, play village, have been built. Janglim Port is famous for its similarity to the canals of Murano Island in Venice, Italy, and for taking pictures of memories on SNS and blogs.

In the beginning, Janglim port was a small, quiet port famous for its seaweed. With the advent of the industrial age, small fishing boats and ships were anchored. Warehouses and factories were built to maintain the ships. Due to this, villages around Janglim port had become busy through the gray industrial complex. The port was reborn in 2012 through the' Janglim port attraction project' and became what it is now. Through this project landfills and industrial complexes were built. As the project progressed the port started to become famous for its colorful container boxes, clock towers, and unique art sculpture that can usually be seen in Europe. However, other than taking pictures of these colorful sculptures, there was nothing else to do in the area. It was criticized by many people and the majority had no intention of returning for a second time. To solve such problems the Bunecia cooking village, which consists of European-style buildings, was opened for young entrepreneurs and fish manufacturers. The cooking village was designed in a way that would entice people to return to the port by allowing them to enjoy not only local specialties such as fish cakes and dried fish, but also various educational and experience activities such as handicrafts, drone experience centers, and pottery workshops. Through this effort, the port has been reborn as a tourist destination. People who had visited Janglim Port before were surprised by the changes in Janglim Port and did not imagine that the port could have been re-developed into a tourist destination.

Visitors who have visited the port say the sunset is a must-see attraction at Janglim port. Many people take a picture against the backdrop of the sunset. As the color of the sunset canvases the port, it creates a landscape similar to Venice which makes people think that they are abroad. The port is not too big and it will be great to enjoy with your loved ones as the weather gets warmer.
