Upcoming Metaverse Training Room in Busan Future Education Center

An increase of Metaverse facilities

Busan Future Education center will build a metaverse training room for metaverse education and experience in September. Recently, the number of virtual businesses, such as VR and AR, has been increasing rapidly and many educational facilities are running these kinds of classes. The word 'metaverse' was first mentioned in a novel written by an American science fiction writer. Through the commercialization of 5G, and the impact of COVID-19, the metaverse is gradually gaining attention.

Many new facilities related to the metaverse are being built these days. Busan City Hall signed a business agreement with 'Hancom' group to promote metaverse services and support promising companies in the new industry to attract the success of the 2030 Busan World Expo. Moreover, they are establishing an NFT forum and secretariat to constitute NFT research insitutes and organize cooperative groups. In particular, in order to attract the success of the 2030 Busan World Exposition the company plans to actively promote various events by applying the core thecnology of the metaverse platform such as exihibition hall, artificial intelligence, avatar and real time voice translation. Similar to this, not only in Busan, but also many other regions are expanding businesses related to the metaverse, with many considering the potential of the metaverse to be limitless.

Busan Future Education center has invested 16 billion Won to renovate their ninth floor as a training room for the metaverse. The education room provides integrated metavese services such as experience production and exhibition unlike any existing metaverse experience rooms. The ninth floor consists of six spaces: Two educational spaces where you can make your own metaverse, one exhibition hall and three spaces to experience the metaverse. The director of the Busan Future Education center said, " Through the metaverse education room we will teach not only students, but also professors and office workers about the metaverse. The metaverse is considered one of the most important technologies of future education and we hope may people will become interested in the metaverse through this education system." The technology is advancing very fast and it will be a good experience to visit and learn more about the metaverse.
