부산외국어대학교 AI언어융합대학원은 부산외국어대학교의 강점인 외국어·언어 능력과 미래 핵심 역량인 AI 활용 및 개발 능력을 융합하여, 산업과 교육 현장에서 즉시 활용 가능한 실무형·연구형 융합 인재를 양성하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 다음과 같은 교육 목표를 설정한다.
 

1. 언어와 AI를 동시에 이해하는 융합형 전문인재 양성

언어학, 외국어 능력, 전산언어학, 자연어처리의 기초를 바탕으로 언어와 인공지능을 통합적으로 이해하는 인재를 양성한다.
 

2. AI 활용 역량과 프롬프트 엔지니어링 실무 역량 강화

생성형 AI, 프롬프트 엔지니어링, 공개 LLM 활용 방법을 익혀 교육, 번역, 콘텐츠, 행정, 비즈니스 분야에 AI를 실질적으로 적용할 수 있는 역량을 기른다.
 

3. AI 모델 이해 및 개발 역량 배양

기계학습, 딥러닝, 트랜스포머, 공개 LLM 구조와 작동 원리를 이해하고, 언어 데이터를 활용한 AI 모델 개발 및 응용 능력을 배양한다.
 

4. AI 학습용 언어데이터 구축 및 품질관리 역량 확보

다국어 코퍼스 설계, 수집, 정제, 주석, 평가, 윤리 및 거버넌스 체계를 학습하여 AI 학습용 언어데이터를 체계적으로 구축할 수 있는 역량을 기른다.
 

5. AI 기반 언어교육 및 응용서비스 개발 역량 함양

AI를 활용한 언어교육 콘텐츠 설계, 평가, 학습지원 시스템 개발, 공개 LLM 기반 응용 프로그램 개발을 통해 현장 문제 해결형 인재를 양성한다.
 

6. 산업·교육·연구 현장 연계형 문제해결 능력 강화

프로젝트 기반 교육을 통해 산업체, 교육기관, 공공기관에서 요구하는 AI언어 솔루션을 설계·구현·평가할 수 있는 실무 역량을 강화한다.

Educational Objectives 

The Graduate School of AI-Language Convergence at Busan University of Foreign Studies aims to cultivate practice-oriented and research-oriented professionals who can integrate the university’s strength in foreign languages and linguistic competence with advanced AI utilization and development capabilities. The program is designed to achieve the following objectives:
 

1. To cultivate interdisciplinary professionals who understand both language and AI

Students will develop an integrated understanding of linguistics, foreign language competence, computational linguistics, and AI-based language technologies.
 

2. To strengthen practical competence in AI utilization and prompt engineering

Students will learn how to effectively use generative AI, prompt engineering, and open LLMs in education, translation, content creation, administration, and business.
 

3. To develop the ability to understand and build AI models

Students will acquire knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, transformers, and open LLM architectures, and apply them to language-related tasks.
 

4. To build expertise in language data construction and quality management for AI training

Students will learn how to design, collect, clean, annotate, evaluate, and govern multilingual language data for AI training.
 

5. To foster competence in AI-based language education and application development

Students will be trained to design AI-assisted language education, learning support systems, and practical applications based on open LLMs.
 

6. To enhance problem-solving skills connected to industry, education, and research

Through project-based learning, students will develop the ability to design, implement, and evaluate language-AI solutions required by industry, educational institutions, and public organizations.
