참여교수

류법모 교수

류법모 교수는 부산외국어대학교 AI-언어융합대학원장이자 빅데이터전공 및 사이버경찰학과 교수입니다. 카이스트(KAIST)에서 전산학 박사, 포항공과대학교(POSTECH)에서 석사 학위를 취득했으며, 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI) 책임연구원을 역임했습니다. 주요 연구 분야는 인공지능, 자연어처리(NLP), 지식표현, 정보검색입니다. 2019년 교육부 장관상을 수상하며 융합 연구의 우수성을 인정받았고, 2022년 자연어처리 국제학술대회(COLING)의 조직 공동위원장으로 활약했습니다. 현재 AI언어융합대학원에서 공학과 인문학을 아우르는 실무형 AI 언어 융합 인재 양성에 앞장서고 있습니다.

Prof. Ryu, Pum-Mo

Dr. Pum-Mo Ryu is the Dean of the Graduate School of AI Language Convergence and a Professor at Busan University of Foreign Studies. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from KAIST and his M.S. from POSTECH. Before joining BUFS, he served as a Principal Researcher at ETRI. His primary research interests encompass Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Knowledge Representation. Dr. Ryu served as the Local Organization Co-Chair for COLING 2022 and received the Minister of Education Award in 2019 for outstanding research. At the Graduate School of AI Language Convergence, he is dedicated to fostering innovative experts bridging humanities and AI technology.

최은실 교수

최은실 교수는 부산외국어대학교 통역번역대학원 한영전공 교수입니다. 이화여자대학교에서 통역번역학 박사학위를 받았으며, 현재 국제회의 통역사 및 번역가로도 활동 중이며, 부산외국어대학교 AI외국어교육센터의 센터장을 역임하고 있습니다. 영어 학습에 AI를 접목하기 위한 여러 방법들을 시도하고 있으며, AI 외국어 플랫폼 구축, AI 영어 말하기 대회 등을 기획하고 운영했습니다. AI언어융합대학원에서는 언어 서비스 분야의 현장 전문성과 AI 기술을 결합한 교육 혁신을 선도하며, 언어와 기술의 경계를 넘나드는 융합 인재 양성에 힘쓰고 있습니다. 특히 AI 기반 언어 교육 모델의 설계와 실용화에 주력함으로써, 급변하는 언어 산업 환경에 능동적으로 대응하는 차세대 전문가를 육성하는 데 힘쓰고 있습니다.

Prof. Choi, Eun-sil

Dr. Eun-sil CHOI is a faculty member in the Korean-English Translation and Interpretation program at the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation, Busan University of Foreign Studies (BUFS). She earned her Ph.D. in Translation and Interpretation Studies from Ewha Womans University and currently works as a conference interpreter and translator. She also serves as the Director of the AI Foreign Language Education Center at BUFS. She has explored various approaches to integrating AI into English language learning, and has planned and operated initiatives such as an AI-based foreign language platform and an AI English speaking competition. At the Graduate School of AI Language Convergence, she leads educational innovation that combines hands-on expertise in language services with AI technology, working to cultivate convergence talents who can bridge the gap between language and technology. In particular, by focusing on the design and practical implementation of AI-based language education models, she is dedicated to developing talents responding to the rapidly evolving language industry.
