외국인 유학생 온라인 강의 수강 제한 안내

2025학년도 2학기부터 교육부 지침에 따라 외국인 유학생의 온라인 강의(비대면/비실시간 강의) 수강이 다음과 같은 제한됩니다.

1. 수강 기준

10학점 이상 수강 신청한 경우에만 단순 동영상 강의를 최대 3학점까지 수강할 수 있습니다.

(※예시)

- 총 10학점 수강 신청한 경우 → 온라인 강의 3학점까지 수강 가능(7학점 오프라인+ 3학점 온라인)

- 총 9학점 수강 신청한 경우 → 온라인 강의 수강 불가(9학점 오프라인만 신청가능)

**OCU 교과목도 온라인 신청 학점에 포함됩니다.

2. 수강신청시스템 변경

1) 2025학년도 2학기부터 10학점 이상 수강신청하는 경우에 한하여 학기당 1개의 온라인 강의를 수강 신청할 수 있도록 시스템이 변경됩니다.

2) 수강 기준을 초과하여 온라인 강의를 신청한 경우 수강 신청되었더라도 추후 취소됩니다.

4) 수강신청 시 온라인 강의 여부를 꼭 확인하시기 바랍니다.

외국인 유학생이 실제로 한국에서 공부하고 있다는 것을 증명하고, 비자 및 학위의 신뢰도를 유지하기 위해 온라인 강의 수강이 제한되는 것이니 적극적인 협조를 바랍니다.

Notice on Restrictions for International Students Taking Online Courses

Starting from the Fall semester of the 2025 academic year, the Ministry of Education has issued new guidelines limiting international students’ enrollment in online courses (non-face-to-face, non-real-time classes) as follows:

1. Course Registration Requirements

Only students who register for 10 credits or more per semester are allowed to take up to 3 credits of online (pre-recorded) lectures.

(Examples:)

If you register for 10 credits → You may take up to 3 credits of online courses(7 credits offline + 3 credits online)

If you register for 9 credits or less → You are not allowed to take any online courses(Only 9 credits of offline courses can be registered)

※ OCU (Open Cyber University) courses are also counted as online courses. 

2. Course Registration System Update

Starting from the 2025 Fall semester, the course registration system will allow students to enroll in only one online course per semester, and only if they have registered for 10 credits or more.

If you register for an online course that exceeds the allowed limit, your enrollment will be automatically canceled after registration.

Please make sure to check whether a course is classified as an online (pre-recorded) course before enrolling.

These restrictions aim to ensure that international students are genuinely studying in Korea and to maintain the credibility of their visas and degrees. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
