● Location: Busan Bank on the 1st floor of Building A and mobile branches.

● Time: During regular Busan Bank operating hours.

1. If you do NOT have an Alien Registration Card (ARC)

(1)Required documents for a new Passport-based account – Processing takes approximately 1 hour.

① Passport.

② Certificate of Enrollment or Standard Admission Letter (issued within the last 3 months).

③ Proof of Residency: Confirmation of Residence/Accommodation (Dormitory) or Lease Agreement (Off-campus).

④ Full home address in your country (City and detailed address) > Must be in English.

⑤ Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) (Varies by country).

※ Students from the countries listed below may submit an original or a copy of their national ID card from their home country if it shows their taxpayer identification number.

※ Once your ARC is issued later, you must revisit Busan Bank to convert your account.

→ Bring your Passport, ARC, Certificate of Enrollment, bankbook, and any cards.

2. If you DO have an Alien Registration Card (ARC)

① Alien Registration Card (ARC).

② Certificate of Enrollment.

☆ Important Notes for Account Opening

- Check Card Issuance Fee: 1,000 KRW.

- Accounts are opened as "Limited Transaction Bank Account" (Transfer limit: 2 million KRW).

- Bankbook Password (4 digits): Cannot use part of your phone number, your birth date, identical numbers (e.g., 1111), or sequential numbers (e.g., 1234).

- Mobile Banking Password: Must be 10 characters including English (lowercase) + Special characters + Numbers.

- If you do not have a Korean mobile number, an email address is required.

★ Students from the countries listed below must submit their documents to Busan Bank by March 13 (Fri) at 15:00. You can then revisit between March 16 (Mon) and March 27 (Fri) to receive your new bankbook.

※ You must bring your passport when you revisit.
