인간 존중의 가치를 최우선으로, 빈곤, 가족해체, 학대, 자살, 정신장애 등 다양한 사회문제를 해결하고 효과적으로 인간을 돕기 위한 사회복지 전문가를 양성하고 있다. 또한 현대사회에서 일어나는 갈등과 소외, 스트레스 등으로 어려움을 겪는 사람들의 심리적 건강과 적응을 위한 상담 전문가를 양성하고 있다.

▣ Introduction
 

The Department aims to cultivate social welfare professionals who uphold the value of human dignity and are equipped to address a wide range of social issues, including poverty, family dissolution, abuse, suicide, and mental disorders.

Furthermore, we foster counseling specialists who support the psychological well-being and social adjustment of individuals facing challenges such as conflict, isolation, and stress in modern society. Through practice-centered education and field-based training, the Department develops competent and compassionate professionals in the fields of social welfare and counseling.

Students may obtain either a Master's degree in Counseling or a Master's degree in Social Welfare. However, students who wish to obtain a Master's degree in Social Welfare are required to complete at least eight courses related to the field of Social Welfare.
